America's Cup update, Emirates Team New Zealand easily defeat Oracle Team USA 2-0 in todays races, Spithill notes major modification of Oracle's AC72's on the cards during lay day

From the following article on the excellent Sail Racing Magazine website:

No surrender from Spithill as Oracle weigh up major boat modifications.

Despite facing a gargantuan points deficit in the 34th America's Cup Final Oracle Team USA skipper James Spithiil is very far from willing to contemplate and thoughts of conceding defeat.

Today Spithill's team, including subbed in tactician British Olympic hero Ben Ainslie, lost both of their races against the challenger Emirates Team New Zealand who are now just three races short of putting the America's Cup on a plane to New Zealand.

Spithill's crew need to win a staggering 10 races to retain the Cup - a feat which would surely go down as one of sailing's, if not sport in general's, most remarkable comebacks.
Asked what his team needed to do to pull this off, Spithill said they would start by not giving up.
