Just a reminder that there is still time to sign up and sail if anyone is interested in competing in the Southern Oceans Multihull Regatta. Missus wants you out of the house? work quiet? Sick of going to the Spring Racing Carnival? There is still an option to go racing with a great group of multihullers! Some crew spots will be available too so even if you would just like to give it a go it's worth turning up.

MYCV Annual General meeting and Sean Langman guest speaker
If your located in Victoria in Australia or passing through we have a club meeting tomorrow night 16th of October at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron at Pier Rd in St Kilda at 7:30pm. We have some club business to attend to at the AGM but we will get that out of the way and soon hand over to our guest speaker Sean Langman. Sean has a long history in sailing having run many Sydney to Hobart maxi monohull campaigns which will be discusse and also his recent acquisition of the ORMA 60 Banque Populaire IV which has allready reset the Brisbane to Gladstone race record and competed against the visiting ORMA 60 from New Zealand "Vodafone". Notes on event visitors most welcome use the intercom at the door to let the RMYS staff know that you are there for the MYCV meeting. Take a lot of change for the parking meters as they are quite expensive per hour and active till late at night.
