12th Royal Langkawi International Regatta, David Renno's Stealth 12.6 catamaran After Burner takes out the multihull division
This extract from the following article on the asianyachting.com website:
http://asianyachting.com/news/RLIR2014/Royal_Langkawi_Int_Regatta_2014_Race_Report_5.htm
By retiring from today's race. Daniel Renno's Stealth 12.6 After Burner opened the door for Grenville Fordham's 11.6m Andaman Cabriolet NiƱa to snatch victory. This resulted in the two catamarans being tied on 12 points, but by dropping today's retirement Renno's After Burner goes on to claim the Malaysian Multihull Challenge Cup on their first attempt. Although Bob Mott's Oasis suffered equipment failure today, they cling onto third place from James Harris Lagoon 410 Fleur d"Epice in the overall stakes.

It looks like the Schionning Geforce cruiser/racer catamaran "Mojo" is continuing to take home the silverware.

Today sees the final curtain come down on the 11th Royal Langkawi International Regatta 2013. But not yet! We still have some racing to do and with blue skies, a fresh breeze and 40 yachts eager for one more shot at that heart-pounding sound of the finish horn, we're going to do just that!
For his grand finale, the PRO has once again brought his team into the calm and expansive waters of Bass Harbor. There amongst the fish farms, tourist boats and longtails, the racing yachtsmen will get a last romp to the windward mark and the final horn, putting a cap on a marvelous week of intense and exciting International Yacht Racing!

11th Royal Langkawi Int Regatta 2013, news from the first day of racing
From the following bymnews.com article:
http://www.bymnews.com/news/newsDetails.php?id=113882
"There is no concern for severe weather over Langkawi for the next two days" was the statement of one weather forecaster. Tropical Storm 'SONOMU' was battering the east coast of Malaysia and the storm was 'stealing' our wind! The Royal Langkawi International Regatta race officials were sort of hoping and praying that maybe just a tiny wee bit of that ‘severe’ weather might find its way into Bass Harbor. Fortunately, their plan worked, and the breeze filled in nicely in the morning and the PRO had us sailing by 0930.
