Farrier F-22 production trimaran, more updates on the f-boat.com build blog
An update from Ian Farrier posted on the 6th of October shows F-22 hulls #2 and #3 well advanced. The centerboard option for the F-22 is also being worked on now with molds being prepared.

Tornado World Championships 2013, Greek team retain world open title Team Gaebler first in mixed title
The evergreen Tornado Catamaran class continues to impress while attracting good fleets to their International championships. The most recent event was held in Ibiza, Spain.

The Greeks retain the title!
The 2013 Tornado Open and Mixed World Championships finished on a high in Ibiza on Saturday, another fantastic day on the water.
Three races were run to make the full quota of 10 races after one was missed earlier in the week. The wind was between 7 and 13 knots and coming from the North to North East direction. In the first race the Greek Red Bull team of Paschalidis and Trigonis stormed out in front and took the victory ahead of the Mixed duo of Roland and Nahid Gaebler.

We had one of the best sailing conditions ever at a Tornado Championship. 10 races with winds between 6 and 25 knots. Every race day had its own tactical challenge with plenty of chances to win or lose a race. On the first 3 days the racing was also combined with big waves, which creates high jumps on the Tornados. Sometimes the boats were out of control and the 32 Teams from 10 Nations had a lot of emotional moments.

They have departed Les Sables D'olonne on the first leg of their round the world voyage on their specially designed and built beach cat "SMA 1er" they intend to transit through the Suez and Panama Canals.

Multihullworld are hoisting a weekend where you can experience the thrill of sailing on a Corsair Trimaran(s).We will be racing them around a set course in the Solent and timing the laps so that people can get a feel for the different performance of the boats. The event will be from 10am-5pm each day. There is a bar and restaurant in the marina and we will be around in the bar after the event in the evening if anyone would like to discuss the boats further.

The big breeze suited Leigh McMillan’s Omani team The Wave, Muscat who came out in empathetic style, winning four of the eight races to stamp an early authority on the Nice leaderboard. But everyone’s eyes were on the Danish SAP Extreme Sailing Team today, who skilfully managed to bring their Extreme 40 back from the brink of a pitch pole, but suffered race-ending damage in the process.

Extreme Sailing Series Act 7 Nice, challenging racing conditions ahead for Extreme 40 teams

The Extreme 40 fleet took to the sky blue waters of Nice, on the French Riviera in admiration of local onlookers today for one final shakedown before battle commences tomorrow (3rd October) from 14.00 CEST. With less then 24 hours to go on the EDOX countdown clock until the eight-boat fleet take to the starting blocks, every minute trialling the Nice racecourse has been crucial.
Today’s practice races played out in light winds that built as the day progressed, giving the crews a taster of what the French Riviera has in store over the next four days.
The penultimate Act of the 2013 Series presented by Land Rover is set to provide a testing forecast to the convoy of elite sailors, ranging from rolling seas and gusts up to 30 knots, to light and fickle breeze perhaps more associated with Nice. SAP Extreme Sailing Team co-skipper Jes Gram-Hansen evaluated; “The weather forecast is showing that we can expect everything this weekend, so we should see some varied conditions! It’s not only the wind conditions we need to watch, but also the movement of the waves, which is due to set a challenge“.
